Looking For Ways to Get Involved with the Fair?
It is hard to believe how much is involved in putting on a fair. Most people don’t realize that as soon as the fair is over, we are already working on the next year. We need lots of volunteers, sponsors, vendors, exhibitors, animals, crafts, plants, flowers, food, lots of meetings and a whole lot of fun!
How can a Non-Profit Organization earn money for their group?
If your community group, church, hocky team, cub scouts/girl scouts, church or any non-profit organization would like to earn some extra cash-come check out the fair! It is usually only for the week of the fair. We have various jobs we like to hire out to non-profit organizations. If you would like to have your group earn some extra money, please contact the fair office at 507-433-1868 or fill out this application form here.

Do you know of any volunteers that deserve to be recognized for all that they do?
During the fair we have a program called the Pride of Mower. At this ceremony we recognize several different members in our community. If you know of an Outstanding Senior Citizen or an Outstanding Mower County Community Volunteer we want to hear about them. Please fill out one of the nomination forms below and send them back to us by June 1st. The Fair Board will go through the applications and vote on one to be honored at the Mower County Fair!
