entry tags will be ready when you arrive.

General Rules:
1. Display is limited to no more than 4 entries per artist.
2. Exhibitors must be residents of Mower County or surrounding area, and must be 16 years or older.
3. Each item must be labeled on back with title of work, name, address and telephone #.
4. All pictures must be strongly framed with wire support ready to hang. Artwork cannot exceed 42”.
5. All entries must be original work of Fine Art done by submitting artist and not previously shown at the Mower
County Fair. No replications of another’s work, laser copies or photo prints of the artist work will be accepted
for an award.
6. Definition of classes:
Professional – a person who earns his or her livelihood in art work for large monetary gains. This includes
commercial artists and designers, who teach or supervise art programs, those with degrees in art or anyone
who has won three first place prizes in the Pro-Amateur division.
Pro-Amateur – One who, through education and/or experience is an advanced artist, but is not a professional,
or anyone who has won three first place prizes in the Amateur division. Anyone studying art in a postsecondary institution should classify themselves there.
Amateur – One who pursues art as a hobby, this does not exclude those who occasionally sell art work.
